Job Summary/Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for ensuring that the Dublin, CA, plant is staffed according to business needs and sustaining critical HR programs, including performance reviews and overall talent management. Additionally, this role will partner directly with their segment's respective Human Resources Director to ensure that any broader scale initiatives include the appropriate HR considerations. The Human Resources Generalist must have a working technical knowledge of all relevant labor and employment regulations within the plant, excellent communication skills, and a solid motivation to advance the Company’s Core Values and culture through the work done every day in our locations.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Ensure that Dublin, CA, is staffed appropriately for workplace planning.
• Ensuring all new hires receive a proper introduction to the company, location, and job throughout their first 90 days.
• Manage the Performance review process throughout the year to ensure that all associates receive objectives and performance feedback and support the annual performance appraisal and talent management processes through effective communications and follow-up with supervisors.
• Support the safety team to ensure a safe work environment.
• Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, time to fill, etc. This role must be comfortable utilizing technology to analyze data to make fact-based decisions.
• Administers benefits to ensure associates are paid timely and accurately and are provided benefits they elect. This should also include the management of various leaves of absence.
• Be the payroll backup for all plants.
• Assists in handling employee relations issues.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred but not required
• 4+ years of HR generalist experience (more experience needed if no undergraduate degree). Preferred experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legal, and statutory rules governing employment and labor law.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Must have excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• High energy level and ability to mobilize resources to accomplish projects, tasks, and initiatives
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities.
• Responds well to stressful situations and environments, with the ability to de-escalate.

• A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
