Healthcare/Pharmacy Customer Service Rep
Contract
Remote (8am – 5pm PST)

Pay Range: $20

Must Haves
:
Bilingual Spanish speaking ability

Preferred:
*Pharmacy Technician License (Strongly preferred)
2 -3 years of medical assessment or healthcare experience

Job Summary/Description:


Job Duties:
  • Conducts high volume telephone outreach to members with identified medication adherence issues; conduct assessment and all necessary follow up assessments to support member to become adherent with medication use.
  • Recommend solutions and complete interventions as directed by the work flows and/or training materials while actively listening, asking probing questions and using critical thinking skills.
  • Documents assessment information in the care management system during the phone call with the member and/or caregiver and documents all corresponding information or notes per department policy.
  • Makes outbound calls to members based on identified health interventions or quality initiatives.  Encourages and provides assistance to members who may encounter obstacles to seeking care.
  • Calls pharmacists and providers if needed for follow-up.
  • Utilizes department desktop procedures, workflows, job aids and training material. 
  • Maintains the member‘s right to privacy and protects company operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Adheres to all quality, compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician license, in good standing, strongly preferred
  • BILINGUAL- Must be bilingual in English/Spanish. (Test will be administered to assess proficiency.)
  • 2-3 years of medical assessment experience, or related healthcare experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of assessment, health and functional problems of older adults and managed care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, required.
