HVAC Technician 
We challenge what is currently accepted, so we can shape innovative?and?lasting solutions for tomorrow.?We provide facilities support services to the UA Tech Park.  We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced HVAC II Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:
  • Installs, services, and repairs environmental-control systems in office buildings and other commercial/industrial settings.
  • Conduct regular and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, includes cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
  • Strong computer skills required for troubleshooting and correcting digital control software.
  • Joins tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units with Pro-press, unions, solder, and brazing.
  • Observes pressure and vacuum, gauges, and adjusts controls to ensure proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot joints and connects for leaks, using gauges or soap and water solution.
  • Ability to do minor insulation repairs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components, fuses, contractors, controls, etc.
  • May service and repair air conditioners, up to 200 tons cooling capacity in buildings.
  • Troubleshoot vav controls.
  • Performs other duties as assigned such as electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:
•              Must be a US Citizen.
•              Must pass required background clearance.
•              Valid Driver’s License-Driving is required for this position.
•              Overtime/Weekend work will be required occasionally.
•              Industrial/Commercial HVAC experience with refrigeration and controls systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
•              Completion of HVAC vocational training.
•              Universal EPA certified.
•              Knowledge using Laptop, and use building automated system software.
•              Ability to read blueprints: mechanical, electrical, plumbing.
•              Ability to maintain and install sheaves(pulleys), belts and bearings on AHU’s
•              Knowledge using sheave/belt gauge and belt tensiometer.
•              Knowledge working on AHU motors up to 100hp.
•              Ability to troubleshoot up to 480 Volts.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
The work area can involve a working environment indoors as well as outdoors.
