The Compensation (HR) Coordinator manages the flow of incoming work for compensation operations via the team email inbox, documenting and ensuring all requests are assigned and in progress. Processes and approves high volume of employee change forms and special pay forms. Provides reporting and status updates to Compensation team and internal customers. Performs other administrative and scheduling tasks as needed.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Supports compensation operations, including but not limited to, serving as the primary initial contact for internal clients, logging requests and open items and assigning them to team members, and timely communications to stakeholders 

  • Assists Compensation team with interpretation of incoming requests 

  • Processes/approves employee change forms within HRIS system. Ensures form data is accurate based on appropriate documentation 

  • Processes/approves special pay forms. Ensures forms are completed and accurate and documentation is attached 

  • Provides basic reporting and status updates to Compensation team and internal customers 

  • Communicates regularly with internal customers (e.g., department managers, finance and accounting, HR colleagues, etc.) 

  • Provides calendar management, meeting, and presentation support for the team 

  • May provide general analysis and job description/code support as appropriate 

  • May provide project support to the Compensation project team and Director 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to provide superior customer service and prioritize tasks and requests effectively 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail   

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred. 

  • 1 year of administrative experience required; HR experience preferred 

  • Experience using HRIS and/or tracking systems (such as Peoplesoft or Smartsheet) preferred
