Marketing Consultant, Global Operations
is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Global Operations Contractor to support the VP of Marketing and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing operations, process improvement, and strategic operations. This role is critical in facilitating organizational processes, driving team engagements, and maintaining effective communication across global regions. This is a temporary, project-based role designed to assist during a period of organizational shift, with a definitive timeline for project completion.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Leadership Organization:
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and CMO to input into the MLT (Marketing Leadership Team) Operational Calendar, managed by EA OPS.
- Set and facilitate the MLT weekly agenda, including determining topics and participant schedules.
- Drive meeting movements, capture actions, and organize necessary follow-ups.
Visibility:
- Maintain an aggregated Global Activity Calendar by working with regional operations coordinators.
- Distribute calendar summaries and detailed insights to various stakeholder audiences.
Work Delivery:
- Establish a process for work delivery share-outs, including both regional and global efforts.
- Create and maintain a dashboard of project statuses, helping teams report progress to plan.
- Facilitate work delivery discussions, capturing actions and organizing follow-ups.
Communications:
- Orchestrate the communication of critical information from the CMO to the MLT and working levels.
- Organize regular information discussions, such as sit-and-sips or coffee talks.
Team Engagement:
- Facilitate Team-to-Team engagements, hosting one session per quarter in each region and one global session.
- Provide business grounding, team building, inspiration, and targeted problem-solving during engagements.
Codification:
- Maintain and publish organizational RACI and workflow guidelines.
- Collate guidelines from functional and geographical work based on global and regional processes.
Tools:
- Identify and support operational tools for work calendars and dashboards.
- Collaborate with the Platform team and IT for tool implementation and support.
Marketing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 6+ years of proven experience in marketing operations, strategic operations, and process improvement within technology, media, or entertainment companies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and distill critical information for stakeholder communications.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience in engaging teams and driving discussions to decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a definitive project timeline.
- Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards, activity calendars, and workflow guidelines.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and regional coordinators.
