Our Environmental Recycling client is looking for a Facility Coordinator who will be responsible for the oversight of their 10 Day Storage facility. They will ensure the safe offloading of trucks, correct barrel labeling, generating manifests, and shipping the materials to where they need to go.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Management of 10 day operations overseeing the moving, loading, and off-loading of trucks.
  • Management of both inbound and outbound trailers at the 10-day facility.
  • Schedules, plans and directs employees in their assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate the processing of inbound and stored materials.
  • Maintaining an inventory of supplies and loading supplies onto outbound trucks for customer pick-ups.
  • Builds loads around the NPS route system
  • Ensure proper placarding and labeling of all containers and trucks at the 10 day.
  • Preform daily inspections as well as maintenance and distributions of 10- day tracking log.
  • Ensure compliance at the 10 day facility.
  • Ensures all employees are working in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support Field Services with waste stream approvals and scheduling IM projects with disposal.
  • Participates in hiring, performance evaluations, counseling and termination of plant employees. Review and submit time sheets for hourly employees. Approve and track time (vacation/personal) taken by 10-day personnel.
  • Responsible for facility maintenance, including directing employees to perform specific maintenance assignments as well as working with outside contractors as necessary.
  • Obtain Purchase Orders for ordering.
  • Preparation of shipping documents for customers.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or its Equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years as a supervisor in shipping and receiving experience is required.
  • 40 Hazwoper Training completion required but can be after hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
  • Forklift Certification
  • DOT Training
  • Good knowledge of the regulations
  • Necessary training to handle hazardous waste
  • Detailed oriented
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills for internal and external customers
  • Excellent working knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations required
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
