Director of IT
Our client is a leading manufacturing company known for its commitment to innovation and excellence. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of IT to lead their technology initiatives and drive innovation within their organization.
Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction for technology investments, ensuring they align with business goals and drive operational efficiency.
  1. Epicor Kinetic Expertise:
    • Leverage your deep understanding of Epicor Kinetic to optimize and enhance our ERP system.
    • Lead and oversee the implementation of Epicor Kinetic, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  1. Technical Proficiency:
    • Demonstrate expertise in SQL, utilizing it for database management, query optimization, and data reporting.
    • Utilize C# for developing custom solutions and enhancing system functionalities.
  1. Networking and Security:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of robust networking and security protocols.
    • Ensure the integrity and security of our systems through the implementation of best practices and proactive measures.
  1. Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business needs.
  1. Vendor Management:
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the company's requirements.
  1. Budget Oversight:
    • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness in technology investments.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Director of IT or a similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Epicor Kinetic, SQL, and C#.
  • Strong understanding of networking and security protocols and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing IT team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Epicor Kinetic, SQL, or C# are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within the IT domain.
