Job Description
Our client is looking to add an Epic certified Epic HB Analyst to join a team of 10 in which 7 are HB and 3 are Claims. This position will focus Epic HB with experience in GL, Late Charges and Consecutive.
They have reorganized the HB department making them short staffed and in need of a resource to come in and hit the ground running. This individual needs to be able to work with team members, customers, with other teams and be able to work independently.

Daily Activity:
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary teams aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the Revenue Cycle – Resolute Hospital Billing
- Prepare, collect, and analyze report statuses, metrics, and trends from different reviews, distilling them into actionable insights to be shared with executive teams and department leaders.
- Retrieve, create, and organize weekly and monthly dashboards and reports to facilitate trend analysis and report findings to senior leadership.
- Support the Management Team in the daily oversight of Resolute HB, including data analysis and trend assessment of outsource vendor denials and aged receivables, to propose improvements for revenue cycle efficiency.
- Building, testing, training, converting and/or deploying new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes
Ideal Candidate:
- Epic Certification in Resolute Hospital Billing
- HB Analyst with 5+ years’ experience
- Epic Certified HB Charging Administration
- Top focuses in HB will be GL, Late Charge, Consecutives, and Cost Center Assignment
- Build/experience in the following is a plus: Hospital Insurance follow up, Claims/Edits, Remittance, Statements, extracts (work a lot of 3rd party), self-pay collections, Charge Router, Bed charge billing, Research Billing
- Working Knowledge of NY State billing regulations is a plus
