Creative Project Manager

Location: 
Framingham, MA
Schedule: Onsite 2x/week
Duration: ~ 6 Months with potential to convert
Pay: Up to $37/hour depending on experience

Our client, a well loved Retailer, is looking for a Creative Project Manager to join their team! This role will be 40 hours a week for roughly 6 months and has the potential to convert. For this position, it does require 2 days a week onsite in the Framingham corporate offices.

Creative Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage creative, brand, and studio projects within the existing marketing process.
  • Deliver a high high volume of projects annually.
  • Manage the workflow of multiple projects simultaneously through Creative, Brand, Art Buying, Production, and Studio processes.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and are completed with the right resource allocation and planning.
  • Partner and manage internal stakeholders expectations with a diplomatic approach and right workflow allocation that meets their timelines.
  • Balance multiple scopes and prioritize the right projects through the creative process. 
  • Problem solve when issues and conflicts arise with project work.
  • Lead discussions and milestone meetings that are effective and efficient.
  • Maintain a clear and reasonable vision of “next steps” and the “big picture” during meetings, conversations, or whenever the parameters of a project change.
  • Forecast resources, proactively identify barriers and provide recommendations to senior leaders for problem resolution.
  • Review the work output to ensure quality, consistency with project specifications and readiness to move on to the next step.
  • Manage and lead project meetings with internal partners.
  • Manage the movement of projects through milestones of creative development, the approval, revision process, and delivery.

Creative Project Manager Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years project management, traffic or marketing experience managing creatives, preferably in an agency or a corporate advertising environment.
  • Strong knowledge of creative, print production, digital and media process and timetables. Ideally video production experience as well.
  •  Resourceful and has the ability to work with ambiguity, strategize and prioritize.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines in an ever-changing environment; the ability to follow-up and follow through.
  • Ability to make decisions, often under tight time constraints
  • Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
  • Workflow experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Basecamp, Smartpath, Workgroups, Workfront or other workflow software preferred.
