Duration: 6 Months 
Pay Rate: up to $64/ hour (DOE) 

Planet Interactive's well-known hospitality client is looking for a Creative Production Lead with 10+ years in content production with a proven track record of managing successful shoots developing content for various channels, including social media and press.

In this role, the Creative Production Lead will be responsible for managing concept development, content production, and execution for comms programming rooted in pop culture that supports overarching communications goals and campaigns across social and press channels.

Creative Production Lead Responsibilities: 
  • Oversees the end-to-end process of concepting, content production shoots, to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Leads and manages a team of producers, directors, photographers, editors, and other production staff, providing direction, feedback, and support throughout the concepting and production process.
  • Liaises with external vendors, including production companies, rental houses, and freelance talent, to secure necessary services and equipment for shoots.
  • Ensures technical aspects of production, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and post-production editing, meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Develops and manages production budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Develops and manages production schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Works closely with editors and post-production teams to review footage, provide feedback, and ensure final deliverables meet project requirements.

Creative Production Lead Qualifications: 
  • Education: Bachelors Degree
  • A keen eye for cinematography, composition, creative storytelling and visual aesthetics, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content
  • The ability to extrapolate filmmaking fundamentals into bold, successful creative choices for unconventional subjects
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in the production process and terminology, comprehension of design and film language 
  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams to achieve creative and production goals
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with production equipment, software tools, and industry trends in video production, photography, and post-production techniques
  • Proven ability to anticipate and resolve production challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and find creative solutions to achieve project objectives
