My client is looking for a Construction Manager to manage a solar project ranging from 100MW-300MW.
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience managing substation construction
Managing projects between 100MW-300MW Work Schedule: M-F
Interview Process: screened by HR then a meeting with the hiring team.
Responsibility
Supervise 5 to 25 employees
Attend management meetings
Must maintain courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors and/or any other representatives of external organizations.
Responsible for site construction, management of subcontracts, manage contract terms and conditions, installation, schedule, logistics, safety, quality and constructability of all aspects of substation and underground construction.
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and reports the on-site construction activities
Responsible to manage sub-contractors to insure the project scope is built in full conformance with the plans, specifications, schedule and budget.

Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
Strong organization and problem-solving skills;
Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office based programs;
Ability to handle confidential information;
Ability to travel
Work experience tracking and updating CPM schedules, RFIs, submittals, payment analysis, review of ongoing work at the site, attendance of meetings and project coordination with the costumer;
Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines (self-directed)
