Our client it looking for a Benefits Specialist, who will be a subject matter expert in medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, tax savings, and voluntary benefit plans. They will support the Health and Welfare team by assisting with the preparation and execution of Annual Open Enrollment.

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education, training and experience
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Must be a SME in medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, tax savings and voluntary benefit plans.
- Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in a higher education institution
Our client it looking for a Benefits Specialist, who will be a subject matter expert in medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, tax savings, and voluntary benefit plans. They will support the Health and Welfare team by assisting with the preparation and execution of Annual Open Enrollment.
- Review legal documents such as SBC, SPD, SAR, and Single Source Documents; assist the Assistant Director, Benefits with regulatory filings at the national, state, and local levels.
- Provide front-line customer service via telephone and email for the Benefits Service Center
- Support New Hire Orientation and Annual Open Enrollment.
- Offer administrative and project support to the Retirement Team; process retirement contribution adjustments for payroll and retirement plan carriers.
- Provide administrative support for Vendor Relations, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with administrative and project tasks for Leave Management, including annual OSHA reporting.
- Support Benefit Operations, Compensation, and Systems teams with administrative and project tasks.
- Provide administrative and project support for Tuition Programs; offer front-line customer service and collaborate with the Manager, Tuition Programs on escalated issues and communication.
