Planet Interactive is seeking an Associate Creative Director to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical clients.
We are looking for a contingent senior-level, Associate Creative Director to partner with our ACD of Copy in New Jersey. The New Jersey team works in the office on Tuesday (Branchburg, NJ) and Wednesday (Florham Park, NJ). It is preferred to find a candidate available to work this hybrid schedule to assist in team presentations and planning sessions. Previous experience in Pharma Advertising is a plus.
The Associate Creative Director is responsible for assisting with art development on assigned brands and working closely with Copy, Account, and Studio partners to help ensure that clients are satisfied with the quality of our creative work, the value of our services, and our responsiveness to their needs.

Associate Creative Director Responsibilities:
- Creative/Hands-on Work (100%).
- Learning to develop multi-channel ideas and tactics that are Brave, Authentic, and Inspiring.
- Strives to deliver layouts and designs that are attention-grabbing, unique, and aligned with brand identity.
- Demonstrates an interest in learning about assigned brands, therapeutic category, and healthcare marketplace.
- Works under the supervision of a more senior art director, often under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
- Understands that advertising is a service industry that sometimes requires extra time and effort to meet client commitments.
- BA degree or equivalent business experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- A portfolio demonstrating creative ability and judgment; proven ability to collaborate with others; developing presentation skills; good design skills/strong potential in all media.
- 10+ years’ advertising agency experience (healthcare preferred).
- A proven track record of creative ability and judgment; successful client contact experience; an excellent presenter, collaborator, manager, and mentor; strong marketing and strategic abilities; deep understanding of science and healthcare; strong understanding of MLR requirements; exceptional design skills in all media.
