Administrative Associate
Salary 22-24/hr
Must Have:
High school level of education required, Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred
- 1+ year of previous administrative experience; ideally in research or academic setting
- Writing correspondence, maintaining files; answering phones and performing other admin tasks as assigned
- Coordinating calendar and travel arrangements
- Processing reimbursements for Investigator and other lab members
- Assisting with preparation and submission of research grants and manuscripts for publication
- Preparing recommendation letters and appointment paperwork
- Creating schedule and arranging program based event – room scheduling, catering, relevant IT-related setups, campus-wide announcements and travel
- Updating internal and external websites; posting featured stories, announcements, events and updating contact information
- Assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications (degree, past experience):
- High school level of education required, Associate’s/Bachelor’s preferred
- 1+ year of previous administrative experience; ideally in research or academic setting
- Requires working knowledge of letter writing, drafting Word documents, Excel spreadsheet construction, file management and basic website maintenance skills.
- Must be prepared to interact with diverse groups of people and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
