Accounts Receivable Clerk
4 Month Contract
Onsite – Carlsbad, CA
Pay Range: $20 -23
Must Haves:
Cash posting and A/R experience (min. 1 year)
System knowledge
Preferred:
SAP and/or HighRadius
Job Summary/Description:
The Accounts Receivable position will perform a variety of tasks including daily cash application and A/R reconciliation working as a member of our Credit Department. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and maintain rapport with fellow associates, accounting departments, and customers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Daily cash posting on individual customer accounts
• Research and resolution of payment discrepancies to ensure accurate cash application
• Process daily A/R adjustments/payments as needed, and apply to appropriate invoice(s)
• Run daily invoicing process to transfer invoices and credit memos from host system to the finance system as required
• A/R reporting including daily reconciliation and month-end reporting
• Insure that deposits are accounted for properly, taking into account any promotions, deductions or discounts that may apply
• Obtain proper approvals before preparing credit invoices or write-offs
• Assists with additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
• College degree preferred (1year minimum experience)
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications MS Word, Intermediate Excel, internet use, and typing skills.
• Knowledge of automated financial & accounting systems
• History working in an Accounts Receivable/Cash Application Department
• Must be detail oriented, dependable and able to work independently.
• Experience using SAP, HighRadius, Jesta or GetPaid is a plus
