Accounts Payable Manager
Direct
Location: Onsite to start – hybrid after training – Burlington, MA

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Associate’s degree + experience
  • 4+ years’ experience with expense processing
  • 4+ years’  experience with an ERP system
  • Supervisory experience

Preferred:
  • Concur experience
  • Experience with NetSuite

Job Summary/Description
The Accounts Payable Manager oversees and directs the team handling accounts payable, expense reports, and vendor services, ensuring accurate record-keeping and invoice verification. They prepare reports, provide staff guidance and training, and collaborate across functions for thorough processing. Reporting to the Controller, their responsibilities include:
 
  • Managing the accounts payable department, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and personnel recommendations.
  • Offering guidance on policy interpretations and resolving transaction issues.
  • Reviewing invoices in NetSuite for proper coding and matching with purchase orders.
  • Monitoring Concur expense reports for policy compliance and timely processing.
  • Assisting in check processing and managing accounts payable aging.
  • Supervising the corporate credit card program and ensuring documentation and account maintenance.
