- 7+ years experience in accounting and financial reporting
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream and/or DAX
- Experience with small business/franchise accounting
Job Summary/Description: an innovating tech-support company is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team to oversee a variety of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
- Direct financial reporting efforts spanning all locations and product lines.
- Supervise the intricate consolidation of domestic and international financial statements for corporate stores.
- Lead critical aspects of traditional controllership, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Provide leadership to a team, including overseeing employees domestically and internationally, managing performance, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
- Cultivate relationships to benefit the team, leveraging insights and maintaining strong rapport with colleagues to enhance customer service.
- Accurately manage program settlements, allocating funds appropriately and ensuring proper accounting across the balance sheet.
- Ensure meticulous reconciliation and documentation of balance sheet accounts monthly, emphasizing error reduction and robust controls.
- Facilitate understanding of underlying processes and requirements, fostering improvements to better serve customers.
- Drive significant results and strategic change initiatives through effective team leadership.
- Apply technical expertise and business acumen to solve complex problems and encourage innovative problem-solving among team members.
- Cultivate broad, senior-level relationships both internally and externally.
- Lead end-to-end accounting and reporting processes.
- Spearhead large-scale projects with high visibility, taking full responsibility for their success.
- Foster an inclusive environment where team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and support one another.
- Identify root causes of issues, develop proactive solutions, and drive sustainable results through stakeholder alignment.
- Embrace change by challenging the status quo, seeking out new approaches, and taking calculated risks to drive improvement.
