Key Accountabilities:
• Review invoices for accuracy and discuss discrepancies with vendors
• Pay invoices and process donations through on-line banking or checks
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare reports to summarize receipts and disbursements
• Manage payroll for approximately 10-15 employees including filing requirements
• Manage various insurance policies and business travel contracts
• Reconcile books and records
• Analyze accounts
• Special projects as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with discretion and sound judgement.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management, organizational and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), WebEx, Teams, Zoom, and
Quicken/QuickBooks.
• Expertise with online bill pay systems.
• Work with minimal supervision
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience with Paychex Flex payroll system is preferred
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Education/Experience/Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or similar discipline) required
• 5 years bookkeeping experience
• Experience processing payroll
