Job Description
The GL Accountant is a key role on the accounting team of our fast paced, dynamic, growing global corporation. This position will be responsible for the hands-on, detail-oriented support of various aspects of the financial cycle and accounting management of the company. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate will maintain GL accounts and business transactions of the organization, support all closing activities, payables, receivables, cash activities and other duties while assuring performance in accord with GAAP and internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyzed, and interpret relevant financial information.

Execute and maintain all general ledger accounting functions (prepare asset, liability and capital account entries, maintain files and records by documenting all financial transactions)

Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses.

Perform AP affiliate function.

Responsible for accurate maintenance of chart of accounts

Process expense report for employee reimbursement and company credit card.

Record monthly revenues, perform monthly reconciliations, prepare review and analyze monthly financial statements.

Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

Produce ad hoc reports as well as performing other accounting tasks required by the Accounting Manager.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's in Accounting
-
Mastery in GAAP with 5-7 years of experience in GL Accounting
-
Strong Excel skill with ability to generate Pivot, Chart, or Vlookup.

Basic knowledge to Visual and/or SAP ERP is a plus.

Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations with respect to accounting treatment.

Effective communication skill, both verbal and written.

Must be detail and deadline oriented, with ability to work independently as well as in a team.
