The Compensation Analyst supports the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of compensation programs. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to ensure competitive, compliant, and well?managed base pay, incentive, and equity programs. Responsibilities include market research, program analysis, system and process maintenance, incentive calculations, equity administration, data integrity, and communication support related to compensation and total rewards initiatives.


Key Responsibilities General
  • Act as an internal consultant to corporate and field HR partners on base pay, short?term incentives, long?term incentives, and related compliance considerations
  • Respond to inquiries regarding compensation program guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain internal and external compensation data across HR systems and third?party compensation and equity platforms
  • Participate in external compensation surveys, including data collection, submission, and analysis of results
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation training and reference materials for employees and leaders
  • Assist with special projects and additional compensation?related responsibilities as needed

Short?Term Incentive Plans (Variable Compensation)
  • Administer short?term incentive programs (including bonuses and commissions), covering calculations, payment coordination, audit support, and employee inquiries
  • Analyze the impact of organizational financial performance on incentive plans, partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate metrics and accruals
  • Collaborate with Compensation leadership and Compliance to maintain, document, and publish incentive plans and related materials

Long?Term Incentive Plans (Equity Administration)
  • Support administration of long?term incentive and equity programs, including data integrity, reporting, financial reconciliations, and governance support
  • Assist with management of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including communications, enrollment, and coordination of payroll deductions and equity purchases

Base Compensation
  • Administer salary structures, including job architecture, leveling, benchmarking, and assignment of roles to appropriate pay grades
  • Support the annual merit review and salary increase process
  • Conduct job evaluations, including FLSA status determinations for hourly and salaried roles
  • Manage job creation and maintenance processes, including job descriptions, system updates, audits, and communications
  • Perform compensation and workforce analytics, such as overtime usage, tenure trends, wage inflation, and incentive return on investment

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of directly related experience in compensation analysis or total rewards
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts)
  • Demonstrated experience researching, analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting large data sets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment while meeting deadlines
