Sr. LabVantage LIMS Master Data Specialist – (Contract) – Onsite – Greater Boston Area
Global Biotech organization seeks a 6-month, 100% onsite consultant for opportunity in Boston. Ideal candidate will be 3+ years’ experience in LabVantage LIMS specialist with strong LIMS master data build/maintenance, EM/UM monitoring experience in GxP pharma manufacturing, pharma industry background, and excellent communication skills. Additionally, seeking a candidate with Cell and Gene Therapy laboratory expertise to understand workflows and processes. This individual will ideally be local to the greater Boston area. Opportunity provides a lucrative contract with likelihood of extension.
Benefits
- Hourly pay between $55 - $67/hr. based on W2/1099
- 40 hrs./week, 6 months with possible extension
Requirements
- Bachelors in technology/science (or similar)
- Reside local to the greater Boston area with an ability to commute onsite 5 days a week.
- 3+ years LabVantage LIMS, including implementations, upgrades, maintenance, etc.
- LIMS master data build creation, revision, and review; owning end-to-end master data lifecycle (intake/request, build/configuration, verification, approval, change control, deployment, review).
- Maintain and support master data models including Raw Material, Environmental Monitoring, Utility Monitoring, EMUM routine testing, and analytical data in a GxP pharma manufacturing environment.
- Pharma industry experience
- Strong verbal/written communication; stakeholder management across QC/QA/MFG
- Understanding of regulated systems/validation concepts (CSV)
- Experience supporting GxP lab and manufacturing workflows; detail-oriented; able to multitask.
- Instrument integration support with LabVantage LIMS interfaces to include Cell/Gene.
- Prior LabVantage LIMS LES template expertise to include COA generation and EMUM data module.
Responsibilities
- Build/maintain/approve LabVantage LIMS master data models (Raw Material, EMPQ/UMPQ, EMUM, Analytical)
- Partner with site leaders/project team to capture/update site master data and EMUM master data.
- Lead QC/QA/MFG through master data builds (products, sampling plans, specs, methods, sample points, LES templates); run demos and approvals.
- Provide first-line user support (LES/data entry issues, COA generation, EMUM module)
- Improve master data requests/review processes; track scheduling/status.
- Collect LabVantage business requirements from users to also include documenting BR, User Stories, Use Cases, and supporting User Acceptance testing as required.
- Maintain master data modules; perform impact assessments and execute change actions; mentor junior specialists.
- Build instrumentation and consumable like critical reagents master data in LIMS.
- Support instrument integration with LIMS interface to include SOP and WI creation and revision as well as end user training and delivery across corporate teams.
- Train junior specialists as required on system and process detail.
