Job Description
IFS Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced IFS Business Analyst with strong expertise in Supply Chain operations, specifically Distribution and Warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Inventory Management, Customer Orders, and Sales processes within IFS Applications/IFS Cloud. This role will bridge business operations and technical teams to optimize processes, configure solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with Supply Chain, Distribution, Warehouse, and Sales stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

Translate operational needs into functional specifications within IFS.

Conduct workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis sessions.

Provide best-practice recommendations aligned with IFS functionality.
IFS Functional Expertise (Supply Chain)
-
Configure and support IFS modules related to:
-
Inventory Management
-
Distribution & Warehousing
-
Customer Order Management
-
Sales Order Processing
-
-
Support warehouse flows including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and stock transfers.

Optimize inventory control processes (cycle counting, stock adjustments, lot/batch tracking, serial tracking).

Support pricing, sales structures, and order fulfillment workflows.
System Implementation & Support
-
Participate in IFS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

Perform system testing (unit, SIT, UAT) and coordinate defect resolution.

Develop functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
-
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting.
Process Improvement

Analyze current supply chain workflows and identify optimization opportunities.

Drive automation and efficiency improvements in distribution and warehouse operations.

Ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational KPIs.
Data & Reporting

Support reporting requirements using IFS reporting tools.
-
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across inventory and sales transactions.

Assist with KPI tracking (inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, service levels).
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field.

3+ years of experience as an IFS Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Inventory Management
-
Distribution & Warehousing processes
-
Customer Order & Sales Order Management
-

Experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud configuration.

Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain lifecycle.

Experience supporting ERP implementations or enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with warehouse automation or barcode scanning solutions.

Knowledge of integration between IFS and third-party logistics systems.

Understanding of financial impact of inventory and sales transactions.

IFS certifications (preferred).
