Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Learning & Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting learning portfolios, curriculum operations, or program management in a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational and data management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with LMS platforms and learning operations processes preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in global or commercial learning environments.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks, SOP-driven environments, or regulated industries.
- Exposure to learning analytics, portfolio reporting, or content lifecycle management tools.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience supporting operational transformation or process optimization.
Responsibilities:
The Learning Portfolio Operations Specialist provides operational stewardship for the Global Commercial Learning & Development (L&D) portfolio, ensuring accurate visibility, structure, and lifecycle management of learning programs, pathways, and experiences across therapeutic areas and capability domains. This role partners closely with Curriculum Strategy and cross-functional L&D teams to maintain portfolio integrity, support governance standards, and enable informed decision-making through organized, reliable portfolio data.
Portfolio Operations & Governance

Maintain accurate visibility of learning programs, pathways, and experiences across therapeutic and capability areas.

Ensure portfolio components are consistently structured, documented, and aligned with governance standards, SOPs, and operating principles.

Organize and maintain portfolio data to support transparency, accessibility, and operational efficiency.

Prepare portfolio insights and materials that enable informed decision-making by L&D leadership.
Operational Partnership & Coordination

Serve as the primary operational partner to the Associate Director, Curriculum Strategy, Experience, and Design.

Coordinate across Learning Operations, LMS Operations, Learning Effectiveness, and Design teams to maintain portfolio integrity and alignment.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure data accuracy and consistent portfolio representation across systems.
Lifecycle Management & Compliance

Maintain lifecycle transparency including content evolution, updates, expirations, and retirement of learning assets.

Support compliance, audit readiness, and operational continuity through accurate documentation and tracking.

Ensure learning content reflects current business needs and remains aligned with organizational priorities.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Maturity

Support the ongoing maturation of portfolio operations by improving visibility, consistency, and readiness for future enhancements.

Contribute to process improvements that strengthen measurement capabilities, reporting, and technology enablement.

Help establish scalable operational practices that support long-term L&D strategy.
