Job Description
C#/VB.NET Developer
- Remote (EST Hours)
- 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
- $55–$65/hour W2 / conversion salary of 110-135K
- GC / USC Only
We are seeking a strong C#/VB.NET Developer to join a dynamic Agile team supporting enterprise-level applications. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity working fully remote on EST hours.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core

Build and enhance front-end functionality using Angular
-
Support server-side scripting with Node.js
-
Develop and maintain SQL Server objects (tables, stored procedures, views, functions)
-
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
-
Contribute to CI processes, unit testing, and continuous integration
-
Utilize Git for source control and Jira for work tracking
-
Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications
-
Contribute to architectural discussions and system improvements
-
Proven experience with C# and VB.NET in enterprise environments

Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core

Hands-on experience with Angular
-
Working knowledge of Node.js (light experience acceptable)

Strong SQL Server experience (complex queries & stored procedures)

Experience working in Agile environments
-
Experience with RESTful API development
-
Proficiency with Git workflows
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Insurance industry experience (highly preferred)

CI/CD pipeline experience
-
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
-
Familiarity with QuickBuild, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions

Exposure to Azure or AWS
-
Understanding of software architecture best practices
