NetSuite NSPB Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior NSPB (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting / EPM) Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based financial planning and performance management solutions. This role is ideal for a finance-savvy technologist who thrives at the intersection of FP&A, systems architecture, and business transformation.

The Senior Consultant will work directly with executive stakeholders, finance teams, and IT departments to deliver scalable, best-practice NSPB solutions that drive budgeting accuracy, forecasting agility, and executive visibility.


Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Implementation
  • Lead end-to-end implementations of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) solutions.

  • Design multi-dimensional planning models for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, CAPEX, and long-range planning.

  • Configure data integration pipelines between NetSuite ERP and NSPB.

  • Develop complex business rules, calculations, dashboards, and financial reports.

  • Manage application security, metadata structures, and performance optimization.

Client Engagement & Advisory
  • Facilitate discovery workshops with CFOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders, and department heads.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable EPM architectures.

  • Provide strategic guidance on financial transformation and process optimization.

  • Present solution designs and executive dashboards to senior leadership.

Technical Leadership
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants and analysts.

  • Define implementation standards, documentation practices, and governance models.

  • Troubleshoot advanced calculation logic and integration challenges.

  • Support testing cycles (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live optimization.

Project Management
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, IT, and operations.

  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high client satisfaction.


Required Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in EPM/FP&A system implementations.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning processes (Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Consolidation).

  • Experience with:

    • Data integrations (NetSuite ERP, CSV, REST, middleware tools)

    • Business rule development and calculation scripting

    • Financial reporting and dashboard creation

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. 

    Pay Range 80-90/ HR
