Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a PACS Senior Application Analyst to join their team for a full time position located in FL. 

The Senior Application Analyst  PACS Imaging is responsible for the support, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of imaging applications, including PACS and related radiology systems. This role partners closely with Radiology, Cardiology, IT, and clinical stakeholders to ensure imaging workflows are efficient, reliable, and aligned with clinical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced support and administration for PACS and imaging applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, and system optimization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for imaging workflows, ensuring systems support radiology and cardiology operations effectively
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Manage application upgrades, patches, testing, and validation to ensure system stability and performance
  • Monitor interfaces and integrations between PACS, RIS, EMR, modalities, and third-party systems
  • Analyze and resolve complex application issues, escalating as needed while maintaining ownership through resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of healthcare IT experience, with a strong focus on PACS and imaging systems
  • Hands-on experience supporting PACS applications and imaging workflows
  • Strong understanding of radiology operations, DICOM standards, and imaging integrations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting enterprise PACS platforms (e.g., GE, Philips, Sectra, Change Healthcare, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, and interface engines
  • Experience supporting Radiology Information Systems (RIS) or EMR imaging workflows

Logistics:

  • Must be local in FL
  • Salary: $130,000
