Job Summary
The Assistant Purchasing Agent supports fixture purchasing and distribution across all lines of business. This role manages fixture requests, purchase orders, and rollout programs while serving as a key point of contact for stores, vendors, and internal partners. The Agent ensures accurate ordering, timely fulfillment, and effective support for construction and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
-Review and process fixture requests; obtain pricing and place orders through the Oracle system.
-Maintain, update, cancel, and revise purchase orders submitted by district teams, ensuring proper approvals are secured.
-Coordinate with fixture suppliers to track deliveries and resolve fulfillment issues.
-Manage fixture ordering and fulfillment for construction and special projects.
-Administer fixture rollout programs for new and existing stores, partnering with Store Management, vendors, and Home Office teams to monitor progress and execution.
-Create and manage purchase orders using More4apps templates and upload new items into Oracle.
-Partner with Fixture Purchasing Agents to maintain accurate item descriptions and pricing in Oracle and related systems.
-Collaborate with Accounting to support invoicing, including obsolete product and issue resolution.
-Run Oracle reports to support the Fixture Buying Team and provide operational insights.
