Epicor Principal Software Engineer
Our client is a prominent manufacturing company dedicated to producing high quality vehicles for their customers. They are currently seeking an Epicor Principal Software Engineer to take the lead in designing, developing, and testing software applications by analyzing user needs, writing code in programming languages, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the software functions properly to meet ERP project requirements. This team fosters a collaborative environment, puts technology first, and offers a wealth of growth opportunities. This is an intricate role for the company and will report to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities of the Epicor Principal Software Engineer:
- Solution design and architecture
- Customization and integration
- Technical leadership
- Code quality and reviews
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Documentation and reporting

Requirements for the Epicor Principal Software Engineer:
- 5+ years’ experience professional software development w/ hands on Epicor ERP customizations
- Experience in cloud-based ERP solutions (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with mentoring technical teams – ERP software development and Epicor specific solutions
- SQL server
- Manufacturing knowledge is a plus
- Epicor certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
Salary range : $135,000 - $150,000 annually
