Salary: $280,000-$280,000K (based on experience level)
Regional Construction Manager – U.S. Virgin Islands
Introduction:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Construction Manager to lead operations across the U.S. Virgin Islands. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee federally sponsored infrastructure projects that are rebuilding critical community assets—including schools, healthcare facilities, and other public buildings—damaged by the 2017 hurricanes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in infrastructure project management, preferably within federally funded programs.
- Bachelors in construction or relevant field
- 10+ years' experience as a Construction Manager within the hospital and/or educational construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Willingness to relocate to St. Thomas or St. Croix (relocation assistance available).
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle project management, from strategic planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with federal regulations.
- Manage and mentor on-island teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Serve as the primary liaison with local stakeholders, government agencies, and federal partners.
- Drive business development efforts to secure future projects and expand our presence in the region.
