Pay:  $200,000–250,000 + Bonus
Location:  Melville NY (Onsite)
Must Have:
  • 10-20 years of progressive HR Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • Experience at a small organization/start up and helping them grow
  • SHRM or PHR Certification
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Workday Experience
Preferred:
  • Healthcare Industry experience
Job Description:
Our client in the Healthcare space is searching for a Vice President of Human Resources In this role you will serve as the chief architect and strategic leader for all aspects of the organization’s people infrastructure. This executive will act as a trusted partner to the leadership team, driving organizational effectiveness, fostering a highly engaged culture, and implementing advanced talent systems that support ambitious growth objectives, while ensuring strict legal compliance and minimizing institutional risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Strategy: Build and execute HR plans that align with business goals and culture.
  • Executive Partner: Advise leadership on org design, workforce planning, talent, and succession.
  • Compliance: Ensure policies meet federal, state (esp. NYS), and local laws; minimize risk.
  • Compensation: Design competitive pay and incentive programs to drive performance.
  • Benefits: Oversee health, retirement, and insurance plans for cost and compliance.
  • Payroll: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. III. Policy &
  • Performance Policies: Create and maintain legally sound HR policies and procedures.
  • Handbook: Update annually to reflect laws and practices.
  • Performance: Implement modern review systems for feedback and accountability.
  • Employee Relations: Manage discipline and terminations fairly and compliantly
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Develop structured, compliant processes.
  • Development: Drive leadership training and career growth programs.
