Job Title: Manager, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Data
Location: United States (Remote). Travel as needed.

Salary: $135,000 – $218,000 (varies based on geographic location in accordance with company policy)

Role Overview Seeking a delivery lead to own the data conversion scope for an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation. This role will define the enterprise data conversion strategy, lead the data workstream, architect ETL and staging approaches, and drive multiple mock cycles through cutover. The ideal candidate blends hands-on data architecture expertise with program leadership across hybrid business models (products, services, subscriptions). Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance: Develop and own a comprehensive data conversion strategy; assess legacy landscapes; define source to target mapping; establish cleansing protocols; design a scalable data governance framework.
Workstream Leadership: Lead the S/4 Public Cloud data conversion workstream—plan, budget/financials, risk/issue management—and ensure milestone adherence.
Architecture & Orchestration: Design and oversee conversion architecture (ETL pipelines, staging strategies, validation protocols); leverage SAP BTP and SAP Datasphere (where applicable) to enhance orchestration.
Execution: Direct hands?on delivery of the full conversion lifecycle—ETL design, mock cycles, reconciliation/validation, and final cutover—aligned with program timelines.
Pursuit Support: Contribute expert input to sales pursuits regarding scope, solution design, and pricing for data conversion.
Team Management: Assign tasks, manage delivery quality, foster collaboration; create reusable ETL templates and automation accelerators.
Professional Conduct: Act with integrity, professionalism, and responsibility in all stakeholder interactions.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years in SAP data conversion and governance, including at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation where you provided input on data scope and solution during pursuit. Big 4 Consulting experience implementing S/4 Hana.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field.
Expertise: Proven end?to?end conversion strategy leadership—from legacy assessment and mapping to governance framework design and operationalization.
Program Delivery: Demonstrated success managing the data workstream in large programs—planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and budget oversight.
Technical Depth: Strong command of data architecture principles; hands?on ETL pipeline design; leadership across mock cycles and final cutover.
Leadership: Track record of mentoring data teams and driving innovation via reusable templates, automation scripts, and governance accelerators.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50–80%, as needed.
