Job Description

Our client is looking to hire an Epic Technical Manager to join their team for a full time role on site. Needs to relocate to Hawaii (relocation bonus given)

Logistics:
  • On site in Oahu, Hawaii - Must relocate (relocation bonus given) 
  • Salary:  $152,000 - $160,000/yr base
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, information services or related field.
  • Depending upon assignment, a bachelor’s degree in a clinical profession in healthcare
  • may be required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare information systems and clinical and revenue
  • cycle information systems.
  • Five (5) years' experience in information technology, of which three (3) years minimum in healthcare. Acute care facility or integrated healthcare delivery application system
  • experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years management experience with direct fiscal and human resource management responsibilities.


Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Interfaces with all levels of the user community and HIS vendors to identify concerns and to ensure that system solutions meet information and service line requirements.
  • Directs and/or performs in-depth studies of highly complex data handling systems to evaluate effectiveness; makes recommendations for improving production of work flow.
  • Assesses current state considerations, standardization efforts and helps determine how to incorporate HIS functionality into core organization requirements.
  • Guides requirements, gathering and solution design activities including the design of workflows as it relates to area of responsibility.
  • Manages and/or oversees clinical or revenue cycle projects that are complex in magnitude, nature and scope, assuring enforcement and adherence to QHS policies, procedures, change management processes and standards of information technology.
