Job Description


Our client is looking to hire an Epic Radiant Analyst for a full time and fully remote opportunity. The Epic Radiant Analyst is responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Radiant module within the organization’s Epic environment. Epic Radiant Certification is required for this role.

This role works closely with clinicians, radiology leadership, operational stakeholders, and the IT application team to ensure efficient imaging workflows, accurate charge capture, and seamless integration with downstream applications.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills, deep knowledge of radiology workflows, and hands-on experience supporting Epic Radiant. 

 

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Radiant Certification (Required).
  •  4+ years of Epic application build/support experience, preferably within Radiant.
  • Strong understanding of imaging workflows, radiology scheduling, modality worklists, and charge capture.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or healthcare IT environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, change management, and release management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Application Build & Support
  • Design, configure, test, and maintain Epic Radiant build, including imaging workflows, workqueues, preference lists, protocols, SmartTools, and scheduling components.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to radiology workflows, technical interfaces, and system functionality.
  • Perform system upgrades, new release installs, and application optimization as needed.

Workflow Analysis & Optimization
  • Partner with radiology departments (CT, MRI, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, etc.) to understand clinical and operational needs.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and workflow designs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve throughput.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with analysts from Orders, Cupid, Willow, Cadence, Prelude, OpTime/Anesthesia, PB/HB, and Imaging IT to ensure build alignment and proper system integration.
  • Collaborate with Radiology leadership, technologists, and schedulers to support department initiatives.

Testing, Validation & Documentation
  • Develop and execute integrated test scripts, perform regression testing, and validate system changes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of build, design decisions, workflows, and change controls.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
