Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support the testing and evaluation of radiation tolerance and system survivability of electronic components and systems operating in natural and man-made radiation environments—terrestrial, airborne, and space.
This hands-on engineering role includes circuit design, test setup development, data analysis, and detailed documentation. Prior radiation effects testing is not required; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement electrical test setups for radiation effects testing
• Evaluate and analyze test results for accuracy, validity, and statistical significance
• Document radiation-induced effects through test plans, reports, and analysis
• Perform circuit design and testing aligned to component data sheets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting space, defense, and nuclear programs
• Support continuous improvement of test methods and data collection processes
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• U.S. Citizenship (no sponsorship available)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related Engineering/Physics degree with experience; BSEET accepted with strong background)
• 3+ years of relevant electronic design and testing experience
• Strong understanding of electronic components (diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, memory devices)
• Ability to design circuits and test component data sheets
• Experience with analog design
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) preferred but not required
Preferred Experience
• Exposure to radiation effects testing or MIL-STD environments
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or nuclear programs
• Proficiency with laboratory test equipment and measurement systems
