Purchasing Coordinator
Contract – 10 months Boston MA
Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree
Purchasing experience
Microsoft 365 using Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel
Preferred:
Previous experience working in government
Job Summary/Description:
Process requests to purchase goods and services in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare bid documentation for procurement of materials and services
• Post bids on public bidding sites
• Review, analyze, and tabulate bids received and forward them to the initiating department for recommendation as to award.
• Prepare appropriate approval documentation for award
• Assure that purchase orders and contract files are properly documented and that they are complete
• Provide administrative support for Inventory Purchasing team.
• Work with suppliers to expedite orders and update excel tracking file.
• Perform all other duties and projects that may be assigned. Including, occasional Mail Room coverage.
