JOB SUMMARY: The Field Service Project Manager’s primary role is to assess job specific assignments and determine resource needs and capabilities, coordinate the availability of materials and equipment, and provide supervision and leadership to perform work onsite directing task with assigned employees and subcontractors in support of meeting job specific demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all projects post-shipment, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Coordinate project resources and assignments, supporting the Field Services Manager.
Minimize project costs and ensure product standards.
Oversee large/key projects and manage expenses against budgets.
Coordinate project handoff and participate in job preparation meetings.
Communicate with departments for coordination and ensure accurate reporting.
Consult with suppliers for material and equipment needs, overseeing documentation and records.
Evaluate staff performance, schedule vehicle maintenance, and review weekly time.
Manage onsite startup checks and troubleshooting activities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Light physical demands, including sitting, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Primary location: Freeman Enclosure Systems Facility in Batavia, Ohio, with travel to job sites (10%-25%) and use of safety equipment as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: A minimum of five years field related experience in a project manager role. The incumbent must have well-developed organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills in interacting
with management, technical support staff, suppliers, and customers.
Safety: OSHA 10, NFPA70E, First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
Reasoning Development: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
Mathematical Development: Ability to add, subtract, and divide all units of measure.
Language Development: Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English.
Education: College preferred, High School Diploma required
Licensures and Certifications: Tradesman certifications such as Welding, Electrical, Mechanical or Painting preferred but not required.
Training: Willing to participate and witness manufacturing processes at Freeman Enclosures Systems, LLC located at 4160 Half Acre Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103 with department heads and personnel related to Enclosure and Tank systems that will require startup and commissioning checks and verifications onsite. Some travel with Field Service Representative may be assigned for site awareness training
Travel: Assignments may require onsite support from time to time based on project demands. Projects can be located anywhere in the United States.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
