Our client is looking for someone with experience in sales within the automotive industry. You must be able communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE:
? At least 5 years’ experience in OEM & 1st Tier Automotive Sales Activities (selling parts such as motors, seats, brakes, etc)
? Proficient in the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
? Familiarity with resistance welding
? Familiarity with laser welding a plus
? Must be a good listener, backed by good verbal and written communication skills
? Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
? Must have a valid passport
?Will go to Japan once or twice
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
? Degree in Electrical Engineering (Associate or Bachelor) or equivalent
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Responsible for overseeing interaction between the OEM and our company (WTC) to ensure maintaining a positive relationship between the OEM and WTC
?Prepare sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.
?Planning and holding sales meetings.
?Maintain monthly forecasts based on sales input.
? Responsible for coordinating the commercial and engineering activities of WTC for the large OEM.
? Conduct/attend meetings with OEM Engineering and Purchasing departments.
? Schedule visits to OEM headquarters and individual plants to obtain feedback on our products and technologies, and explore other business opportunities that would enhance WTC’s profitability.
? Must be capable of navigating through OEM to find information worthy of forecasting, what, where, and when
? Ability to develop and efficiently present PowerPoint presentations to promote the company, products, and technology.
? Negotiate project pricing.
? Process APQPs’for new products and/or projects
? Frequent travel required – domestic & international
