Job Description
The VP of HR Strategy & Change Management is a senior leadership role that requires an experienced and forward-thinking HR leader who will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive multi-year people strategy that enables our continued growth and success. This successful HR leader will also drive strategic organizational change initiatives across the company. In this regard, the VP of HR Strategy & Change Management will lead the development and execution of change management strategies, processes and plans to support major business transformations, business development, technology implementations and cultural evolution.
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy
- Partner internally and externally to understand and articulate strategic future drivers of our company as it relates to people, organization, leadership and culture.
- Work closely with the HR Leadership Team (HRLT) to build, communicate and execute our 3-5 year HR strategy which will serve as the foundation of our employee value proposition, employee experience, compensation philosophy and annual goals.
- Leverage HR data, analytics and industry benchmarks to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR business partners and cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs.
- Work closely with HR Chief of Staff, CHRO and HRLT on resourcing and budget allocation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor within HR.
Change Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management framework, methodologies and best practices to drive successful organizational change.
- Partner with executive leadership to assess change readiness, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead change management workstreams for major initiatives, ensuring effective communication, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and manage a high-performing change management network and center of excellence to further build change management capability across the enterprise.
- Measure and report on change adoption, realized benefits and return on investment.
- Serve as a change leadership coach and mentor to build organizational change capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, organizational development or HR certification preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in technology, biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies.
- Expertise across multiple HR disciplines including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, HR business partnering and total rewards.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence at executive levels.
- Strong data-driven approach to HR initiatives and measuring ROI.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to implement leading HR practices and technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of employment laws, regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, complex organizational transformations.
- Expertise in change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience managing teams and developing talent.
