Description:
  • The team is looking for ROW Specialist who has coordinated permits. MUST be visible on resume. 
  • Research local and state engineering permitting requirements related to construction of electric transmission lines, substations, and renewable energy projects
  • Prepare permit applications for utility crossings that are non-environmental related railroads, pipelines, highways, canals, fiber optic lines, other powerlines, etc.
  • The Staff Right of Way Specialist will perform various duties in the facilitation of land acquisitions, negotiations, property research, titles and surveys. This includes performing permitting activities, construction coordination, and restoration on Right of Way projects in a variety of locations.

 
  • Travel: 25%

Requirements:
  • US Citizen.
  • The team is looking for ROW Specialist who has coordinated permits. MUST be visible on resume. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Minimum of 4 years Right of Way acquisition, relocation, and eminent domain experience, project management and/or real estate experience preferred with the applicable degree. IF doesn't have the Bachelor's degree, candidate needs 8 years exp with Right of Way acquisition, relocation, and eminent domain experience, project management and/or real estate experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience.
  • Understanding of municipal and county building codes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of GIS data management and Google Earth files.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license required.   In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
