Job Title: Senior Manager - SAP SD
Location: Onsite – Austin, TX
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
W2 Rate: $95/hour
Expected Salary Upon Conversion: $175,000 – $195,000 + Bonus + RSUs
Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday Onsite (4 days/week), 40 hours/week

Introduction
TPG is partnering with a high-growth lifestyle brand to hire a Senior Manager - SAP SD Lead on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a highly visible position supporting a core ERP workstream within a modern, cloud-forward S/4HANA environment. The role combines team leadership with hands-on SAP SD configuration and project delivery, reporting directly to senior IT leadership.
This position is based onsite at the company’s headquarters in Austin, TX, four days per week (Monday–Thursday), offering a dynamic and collaborative workplace built around innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of SAP experience with deep expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
Experience with S/4HANA (ideally v1909; prior experience on 1511 or later also valuable)
Hands-on leadership experience – ability to manage teams while also delivering as an IC
Project exposure to Direct Ship and Contract Manufacturing models
Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and act as delegate for IT leadership
U.S. work authorization required; must be local to Austin, TX or able to relocate without sponsorship
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud experience
Background in Retail, CPG, or Direct-to-Consumer industries
Exposure to Public Cloud platforms and modern architecture patterns
Proven people leadership experience – able to mentor FTEs and contractors alike
Comfort interfacing with executives and rotating into leadership coverage when needed
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead a small team of SAP SD professionals (2 FTEs + 4 contractors)
Design, configure, and deploy SAP SD solutions aligned with business needs
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, and E-Commerce teams
Manage SD deliverables across project workstreams involving S/4HANA and external integrations
Serve as a strategic advisor to IT leadership, stepping into expanded responsibilities as needed
Contribute to systems enhancement, process optimization, and solution scalability
