Part-Time Social Media Content Designer
Location: Remote (EST hours)
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr DOE
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a dynamic and innovative company, dedicated to creating meaningful connections with our audience through engaging social media content. We are currently seeking a talented and creative Social Media Content Designer to join our Creative Studio team. As a Social Media Content Designer, you will work closely with our social team, designing captivating images, illustrations, and light 2D animations for our social channels.
Responsibilities:
• Design visually appealing and shareable content for our social media channels, including but not limited to images, illustrations, and light 2D animations.
• Collaborate closely with the social team to understand content requirements and deliver high-quality designs that align with our brand identity.
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments with varying deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of all projects.
• Attend a weekly check-in meeting with the Organic Social team and actively participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Be available on weekdays to address any immediate requests that may arise, although same day requests are rare.
• Adapt to evolving design trends and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual presence of our social media platforms.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all social media content, ensuring it resonates with our target audience.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your skills in designing social media content, including images, illustrations, and light 2D animations.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for staying updated with design trends.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience in social media content creation is a plus.
• Video editing skills for social platforms like TikTok. (nice-to-have)
