Job Description
Our client is in search of an Account Manager with a detailed, customer service-oriented spirit who can grow and nurture relationships with current customers, support internal teams and successfully price, organize, and deliver small (primarily under $300,000) HVAC projects. They are a leading service provider of HVAC Systems and other supporting solutions. Looking for someone who can deliver excellence with innovation, reliability, and efficiency to customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Understand clients' business objectives and provide strategic guidance on how our products/services can support their goals.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for account growth and new business development within existing accounts.
• Assist customers with planning and scope development for retrofit and/or replacement projects.
• Perform job walk downs and assemble detailed project estimates.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposal presentations.
• Lead job turnover process: project set up, pre-project meeting, and site visits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, accounting, technician, dispatch, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present reports on sales, sales activity, and account status.
• Negotiate Project and Maintenance contracts with clients.
SKILLS
• Strong project quoting and project management experience with HVAC equipment replacement and large repairs.
• Customer service focused approach to problem solving.
• Team player and a willingness to help fellow associates.
• Motivated to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 year of proven work experience in HVAC service-related project management.
• History of pricing, managing, and coordinating installation of small projects and repairs (typically under $300,000).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
