Job Description:
We are searching for a Recruiting Contractor to support our Corporate Engineering function, which is called the Process Systems Development (PSD) team.

The PSD team works cross functionally with safety, production, and plant engineering across our tire manufacturing site locations in North, Central and South America. This team manages the full project lifecycle of large capital projects within manufacturing including installation, testing, debugging, commissioning, integrating, and troubleshooting.

In this role, you will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment to include staff level through senior technical level openings. This is a low volume (i.e. < 15 reqs) and high touch recruiting environment.

• Build partnerships with mid-level and executive leadership to identify important talent needs and develop creative strategies to attract and assess talent.
• Subject matter expert with regards to passive candidate sourcing and selection techniques, inclusive of social media technology
• Manage, evaluate, and develop innovative direct sourcing plans to attract diverse talent to our developing, and emerging businesses. Develop talent pipelines for critical & recurring roles as well as provide market intelligence.
• Meet goals for time-to-fill, time-to-start, hiring manager satisfaction, and diverse candidate slates.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in related discipline
• 3+ years of Technical / Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, & Process) recruitment experience required
• Ability to influence decisions through relationships by utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to senior executives

• Top 3 Skills: proven track record of placing Electrical Engineers / Software Controls Engineers / Mechanical Engineers / Process Engineers in manufacturing environment; low volume (i.e. < 15 reqs) with high touch recruiting background; ability to source above the funnel candidates and convert to applicants for in depth technical screens
• Can this be worked remotely?: Yes
• Is there opportunity for this to go FT: Depends on current teammate movement and budget for ‘23 – this contract is being funded by business, so not new add to TA headcount
• What will your interview process look like? (1 or 2 interview? In person, phone?): Virtual interviews via MS Teams and/or phone with initial interview w/ TA Director, then with Sr. TA Partner + TA Partner for realistic job preview, final interview w/ TA Director
• Years of experience Required: 3
• Work Hours/Schedule: flexible – team works from home and we have TA Partners in Nashville metro, as well as remotely; 40 hour work week expectation
• Training Schedule/Hours: flexible with ‘normal’ business hours; will spend 1: 1 with Workday Program Manager, 1: 1 with TA Director, as well as time with other TA Partners to learn Workday system & Bridgestone Processes; it will take a couple of weeks to get up to speed on team and systems and able to work alongside current TA Partner supporting the PSD team.
