Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion home repair and energy efficiency projects for our Income Qualified programs.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for community service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with contractors and program team to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Identify and address opportunities for work efficiencies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with program team, contractors, and customers. Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Risk Management and Safety: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, timelines, and progress reports. Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in low-income housing or home repair projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Commitment to community service and improving living conditions for low-income families.
