The Planet Group is looking for a Program Managerto join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours a week and is fully remote, but PST or CST timezones are preferred.
This person will help create and optimize innovative e-commerce strategies and initiatives across primarily the website and the app. As a Program Manager, this person will specifically focus on growing the budding gifting business globally, helping ideate and expand seamless best-in-class experiences that surprise and delight both gifters and recipients at scale.
Program Manager Responsibilities:
Represent a business and customer experience point of view on a variety of capital projects, defining strategy for new gifting features
Act as primary digital experience liaison with core cross-functional partners, including Product, Marcom, Merchandising, and others, providing actionable feedback and supporting the efficient delivery of all gifting projects
Analyze and compile gifting trends and insights from quantitative and qualitative inputs, crafting coherent narratives for executive audiences
Conduct external industry benchmarking research, identifying relevant inspiration and opportunities to stitch back
Help create and present strategic briefs and presentations to document business priorities, opportunities, and performance
Regularly measure and report on program performance and create financial business cases
Build out longer-term gifting vision and strategy, developing innovative concepts
Program Manager Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in a strategy or customer experience function
Experience in, deep knowledge of, and passion for the global retail or e-commerce B2C industry
Ability to simultaneously operate both strategically and tactically, proactively sweating the details, while not losing sight of the big picture and customer centricity
Demonstrated analytical/reporting skills and a knack for uncovering root causes and simplifying complexity in order to synthesize clear insights and make data-driven decisions
Hands on experience with a variety of business analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and advanced Excel preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, including proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, or equivalent, and presenting to various levels of leadership
Problem solver mindset amidst ambiguity - able to flexibly adapt and make quick, pragmatic decisions based on limited info
Proactive bias for action and being resourceful
Team player able to build collaborative relationships with cross functional and global partners
Curious outlook with a learner’s and data-driven mindset
