Program Manager

Location: Hybrid onsite in Austin, TX (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; occasionally Monday and/or Friday)
Duration: 12 months
Pay: ~$70/hour, DOE 
 
The Planet Group is looking for a Program Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours a week and is hybrid in Austin, TX.

Program Manager Responsibilities: 
  • Own and manage the detailed Online plan of record, connecting all workstreams, program timelines and deliverables, and ensuring smooth operations of all execution workstreams
  • Manage leadership and partner communications, ensuring alignment and clarity through the program lifecycle
  • Analyze and track new and emerging risks, and develop comprehensive risk mitigation & contingency plans
  • Center point for ASO; ensure the best customer experience at launch and the integrity of the orders
  • Collaborate on and influence Online strategy at launch
  • Own and deliver content + features plan with clear deliverables & timelines
  • Track and manage evolving priorities with appropriate trade-offs. (With WWPM, Marcom, Digital Merch, Finance and Retail Commercial teams)
  • Drive detailed operational and systems plan of record and implementation, and manage readiness across internal and external systems (With Ops, RCC and IS&T)
  • Drive effective change management with the new and changing programs (With Product Management and IS&T)

Program Manager Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • 6+ years program management experience, managing and delivering strategic initiatives, showcasing ability to connect workstreams to business priorities, strong influencing skills & coordinating members from a broad cross-functional team to work towards one goal/outcome
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple levels of a highly matrixed organization
  • English business proficiency
  • Experience in eCommerce, Internet, or multi-channel environment with relevant technical and business acumen
  • Demonstrated success in influencing strategy and direction through data driven insights.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates core values of inclusion and diversity.
