Product Designer
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: Up to $53/hour depending on experience
Duration: ~ 3 Months
Our evolving Retail client within the sports space, is looking for a Product Designer who has experience working in the eCommerce/ Retail space to join their team. This role is currently slated for roughly 3 months and will be 40 hours a week. The Product Designer can be 100% remote and must work EST hours.
Product Designer Responsibilities:
• Develop user journeys, user flows, low and high fidelity prototypes.
• Work with the eCommerce lead to design new features to the website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, engineering, data, and more to design well thought out improvements.
• Work on projects that involve evolving the look and feel of the current website around eCommerce functions like PDP, PDL, product cards, and more.
• Handle some UX research studies through usertesting.com and other best practices.
• Bring forward ideas to the team on how the digital experience can be improved upon.
• Provide updates on project milestones in meetings as well as present mock-ups and work to internal stakeholders.
• Take feedback and iterate based off what was given.
• Manage multiple project timelines and prioritize based on the sprints and launches.
Product Designer Qualifications:
• 3+ years of UX design experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates a problem, the work, and the solution that was implemented.
• Experience using Figma.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Any experience within eCommerce is highly sought after, but the client is open to individuals who have a well-rounded UX background.
• Excellent presentation skills around articulating design strategy and written communication skills.
• Experience designing components for Desktop. Any experience with mobile is a big plus.
