The Planet Group is seeking a PowerPoint Specialist to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical clients.
Pay: $40-$42/hr depending on experience Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Mettawa, IL
The PowerPoint Specialist will work within PowerPoint daily, and are technically savvy within the back-end of PowerPoint to deliver custom graphics, charts, infographics, color themes, animations, hyperlinking, transitions, and videos.
PowerPoint Specialist Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Work within PowerPoint to create visually compelling presentations that simplify complex ideas into easy-to-understand graphics, charts, and infographics.
Leverage expertise in masters, layouts, color themes, animations, transitions, and multimedia to enhance presentations.
Analyze and design content using appropriate typography, colors, and design elements to effectively convey messages.
Efficiently produce high-quality presentations for senior executives, marketing teams, and cross-functional teams.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all presentations maintain brand consistency and meet company standards. Understand and interpret Brand Standards and Guidelines, including our Corporate Brand, as well as individual product brands, as required.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, maintaining effective communication with team members and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver on expectations. Have a strong, positive, and professional work ethic and maintain productivity and consistency under pressure.
Time Management: Possess excellent organization and project management skills, effectively managing tasks to meet both short-term and long-term deadlines. Adapt quickly, balancing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. Anticipate needs, providing innovative solutions without compromising quality. Prioritize and multitask efficiently to enhance productivity with high attention to detail.
Trend Application: Develop effective presentation storytelling and engaging design to impress and exceed the expectations of our clients. Maintain awareness of current design trends and technologies and integrate them as appropriate.
Direction and Process: Follow creative direction and adhere to task and organizational workflows. Collaborate on development and clarification of project scope, timeline, and budget while sharing accountability for meeting requirements and expectations. Regularly engage with teams to see projects through to completion, while also being capable of independently working with minimal supervision and leveraging resources when necessary.
Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent quality and attention to detail, delivering compelling visual storytelling. Provide timely updates on project progress, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
PowerPoint Specialist Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline;
2+ years of experience working in a creative agency environment.
Portfolio must include a variety of dynamic PowerPoint presentations that display slide transitions, animated elements, video, data visualization, and good typography. Present additional brand/design work if applicable.
Extensive experience in PowerPoint design, with a proven track record of creating visually impressive presentations. Strong capability in creating infographics and advanced data visualizations that simplify complex information.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint required.
Knowledge of Microsoft software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc. Fluency in both PC and Mac platforms, ensuring versatility in design environments.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
Highly organized with strong project management abilities. Capable of adapting quickly and balancing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
