Must Haves:
- BS Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Big 4 or comparable experience
- 3+ years’ experience with accounting for new acquisitions (opening balance sheet, accounting conversion)
- Experience working with different stakeholders across various functions within company. Interest in rapid ability to prepare decision-support analysis on a range of issues related to financial performance, business planning, strategic opportunities, and business case analysis
- Experience supporting senior business partners
- Masters or MBA preferred
- 5 years of related Accounting, M&A and/or finance background preferred, must have done this in the last two years.
Job Description:

The incumbent will be supporting M&A Team in all areas of an acquisition lifecycle to drive analysis and strategic decisions, gain consensus among stakeholders and prepare clear, concise, and compelling analysis for internal customers. The acquisition lifecycle would include performing financial valuation, lead oversight of financial due diligence, partner on with integration planning and execution, and providing post-acquisition support and review.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance various complex financial models for TSD Strategic Portfolio team. Become Subject Partner with global Finance Teams to create and continuously enhance processes and tools for formal financial due diligence and post-merger integration of an acquisition
- Lead and oversee specific acquisitions due diligence and integration planning and ongoing progress updates, including managing internal teams and consultants that are responsible in executing the related tasks
- Work closely with the Finance & Accounting, Tax organization, Business Development and Integration teams throughout the lifecycle of an M&A transaction. Gather, verify and analyze information, and formulating views and conclusions, and driving the due diligence process for each deal
- Manage and prepare of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the target and internal teams
- BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Masters or MBA preferred
- At least 6 years of Finance or equivalent experience, at least 2 years of portfolio finance experience required, preferably in global matrixed environment.
- Must have strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must have experience support senior business partners
- Must have experience in building comprehensive financial models for Research and Development programs
- Must have experience in supporting portfolio valuation and project prioritization
- Must have experience in planning all aspects of project financial models including cannibalization, pull through, lost opportunity, and protecting base business
- Must have experience in managing internal or external personnel
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
