Location: 100% Remote Duration: ~ 2 Months (could get extended for the right fit) Schedule: 40 hours a week Hourly Rate: up to $35 an hour/ DOE
Our Ad Agency client that focuses in the CPG and Retail space, is looking for a Production Artist for a 40 hour a week, roughly 2 month assignment. This role is 100% remote.
This role requires experience within the CPG space to be considered and having your own equipment is required.
Packaging Production Artist Responsibilities:
Execute packaging production related materials for items within the CPG beverage and food space.
Ensure that all materials meet typography, layout, image and details.
Handle some packaging design work and bring an understanding of colors, formats, government regulations and specifications to the projects.
Create conceptual extensions of approved designs for additional project components within line extensions.
Deliver files that are completely ready for pre-press and print.
Take information and details from Excel and transfer to files ensuring accuracy and detail.
Work collaboratively with teams cross-functionally to gather and produce assets.
Deliver files that are completely ready for pre-press and print ready for packaging.
Bring a visual eye to the assigned projects.
Communicate with outside publications and vendors to get correct specifications and delivery instructions as needed.
Collect the files for final output.
Ability to manage to deadlines and timelines as assigned.
Attend meetings, participate in chats, and collaborate on documents.
Organize, monitor, archive, and maintain file structures and on the correct servers.
Packaging Production Artist Qualifications:
5+ years' experience creating production mechanicals, design and packaging.
Portfolio with samples and descriptions as to what work was done.
Experience working with packaging that has regulatory elements.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and experience using Google Workspace.
Experience and understanding of Litho, Flexo, and Gravure printing methods and processes is highly sought after.
